Scotch Eggs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. sausage meat
    6 hard-boiled eggs
    bread crumbs
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    frying oil
Preparation
    Divide the sausage meat into 6 (4 ounce) portions.
    Shell the eggs; dip in flour.
    Coat each egg with egg and bread crumbs.
    Fry in hot (but not smoking) oil, turning carefully (roll over) every minute or two to cook evenly until browned all over, about 25 minutes cooking time in all.
    Cut each egg in half. Serve hot with tomato sauce or cold with salad greens.
