Butternut Chews - cooking recipe

1/2 c. butter flavor Crisco, melted
2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. finely chopped nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan with butter flavor Crisco.
Beat eggs until light and foamy in large bowl. Beat in sugar, vanilla and Crisco until creamy.
Combine flour with baking powder and salt.
Add to egg mixture.
Mix at low speed until blended.
Stir in nuts at low speed (mixture will be stiff).
