Low-Fat Salad Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices Canadian bacon, cut in thin strips
    1 qt. skim milk
    2 c. cubed potatoes
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. corn kernels
    4 c. shredded romaine
    1 1/2 c. chopped tomato
Preparation
    Cook bacon until lightly browned.
    Add 3 cups milk, potatoes, onions, salt and pepper.
    Bring to boil.
    Cover.
    Reduce heat and simmer about seven minutes until potatoes are tender.
