Western Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard or turmeric
1 c. sugar
1 carrot, shredded
1/2 to 1 head cabbage, shredded
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. vinegar
sprinkle of pepper
Preparation

Shake together salt, mustard, oil, vinegar, sugar and pepper and pour over vegetables.
Refrigerate overnight.
Keeps about 2 weeks in refrigerator.
