Chocolate Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. (1 stick) margarine
3 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
2 c. flour
1/2 c. oil
1 c. water
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

In a bowl, mix together flour and sugar. Set aside.
Mix margarine, oil, cocoa and water together in a saucepan.
Heat until comes to a boil.
Pour over sugar and flour mixture and beat.
Add buttermilk, eggs, soda and vanilla.
Beat again.
Pour into a greased and floured 12 x 18-inch cookie sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes or so. Frost with chocolate frosting and sprinkle with nutmeats, if desired.
