Candied Yams Supreme - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 to 5 medium size yams
juice of 1 large orange
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 cube butter, melted
1 to 1 1/2 tsp. grated orange rind
Preparation

Peel and parboil yams, making sure they are quite undercooked and cut into thick slices.
Place in baking casserole.
Combine remaining ingredients to make thick sauce and pour over yams. Bake at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for 1 hour, basting frequently.
Serves 4 to 6.
