1 1/4 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 c. Hershey's cocoa
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. melted butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 1/4 c. hot water
Preparation

Combine 3/4 cup sugar, flour, 1/4 cup cocoa, baking powder and salt. Stir in milk, butter and vanilla; beat with spoon until smooth. Pour batter into ungreased loaf pan. Mix 1/2 cup sugar, brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa; sprinkle evenly over batter. Pour hot water over top. DO NOT MIX. Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 350\u00b0. Let stand 15 minutes. Serve hot with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
