Puffs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 rounded tsp. baking powder
    milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 egg
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Add egg and enough milk to make a thick batter.
    Add melted butter; drop by spoonfuls into boiling hot shortening.
    Cook until brown and done in center. Serve hot, sprinkled with powdered sugar.
    Serves 6 - maybe! Delicious for Sunday breakfast.
