Mace Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    6 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 3/4 c. white sugar
    2 c. plain flour, sifted with 1 tsp. ground mace
Preparation
    Cream Crisco and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add flour sifted with ground mace.
    Add vanilla and salt.
    Bake in greased tube pan for 1 hour at 340\u00b0.
    Good plain or with \"Betty's Frosting.\"
