Mexicali Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 stalks celery
    1 medium onion
    1 green pepper
    salt, pepper and cumin to taste
    1 can barbecue beans or red kidney beans, drained
    2 (8 oz.) cans Hunt's tomato sauce
    1 can drained hominy
    grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    crushed tortilla chips
Preparation
    Brown beef; drain off fat.
    Add celery, onion, pepper and seasonings; cook until almost tender.
    Add beans, tomato sauce and hominy.
    Simmer until thick.
    Put in casserole dish; bake 15 to 20 minutes.
    Top with grated sharp Cheddar cheese and crushed tortilla chips.
    Bake until cheese bubbles.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0. Freezes well.
