Shrimp In Red Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 large garlic, minced
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, crushed
    1 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
    1 1/2 lb. shelled shrimp
    1/2 red bell pepper, cut in thin strips
    cayenne pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook onion and garlic in oil in a large, heavy skillet over medium heat.
    When onion is transparent, add tomatoes and their juice.
    Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
    Add vinegar, shrimp and pepper strips; stir so that all shrimp are coated with sauce. Add pepper; cover and let simmer 10 more minutes.
    Serve over rice.
