Onion Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. unsalted cracker crumbs
    1 stick butter, melted
    4 c. thinly sliced onions
    4 eggs
    1 1/2 c. instant nonfat dry milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
    1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Mix crumbs with 1/2 of the melted butter and press over bottom and sides of 10-inch pie pan.
    Melt rest of butter in skillet and add onions.
    Saute until soft but not brown.
    Spread over cracker crumbs.
    Beat eggs lightly and add salt, pepper and milk.
    Blend with whisk.
    Pour over onions.
    Sprinkle cheese on top and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Preheat oven.
    Serves 4.
