Easy Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pastry shell, baked
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. water
    2 Tbsp. white corn syrup
    2 Tbsp. strawberry gelatin powder
    1 qt. fresh strawberries, sliced
    whipped topping
Preparation
    Combine sugar, cornstarch, water and corn syrup.
    Place on heat; bring to a boil and cook until mixture is thick and clear. Add gelatin, stirring until dissolved.
    Cool.
    Pour part of cooled glaze in prepared pastry shell.
    Arrange strawberries and cover with remaining glaze.
    Top with whipped topping to serve.
