Custard Pie Filling - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
3 c. milk (scalded)
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation

Beat eggs slightly.
Add sugar, salt, vanilla and nutmeg last.
Add strained, scalded milk.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until set.
