Cherry Coconut Bar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    3 Tbsp. powdered sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. coconut
    1/2 c. quartered maraschino cherries
Preparation
    In bowl, stir rest of these ingredients into eggs.
    Dump onto baked pastry (above).
    No need to cool pastry first.
    Bake another 20 to 25 minutes until edges are brown and top toasty in 350\u00b0 oven in an 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
    Serves 9 to 12 pieces.
