Chow Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. chopped onions
    3 c. chopped green and red peppers
    3 c. chopped cabbage
    6 c. chopped green tomatoes
    1/2 c. chopped garlic
    3 small hot peppers, chopped
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. vinegar
    2 c. water
    3 Tbsp. salt
    3 tsp. mustard
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over vegetables; let stand for 10 minutes, then drain.
    Add seasonings.
    Boil for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Put in jars and seal.
