Tomato Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. canned tomatoes or fresh tomatoes with skins and seeds removed
1 medium onion, cut fine
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
3 c. toasted bread crumbs (5 to 6 slices)
1/2 c. melted butter
parsley for garnish
Preparation

Boil tomatoes, onion, brown sugar and salt for 10 minutes. Toss bread crumbs in melted butter.
Combine tomatoes and most of bread crumbs.
Put remaining bread crumbs on top.
Garnish with parsley and bake in covered casserole for 30 minutes.
Bake at 325\u00b0.
Serves 5.
