Chicken Rice Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick oleo
1 1/2 c. uncooked rice
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can water
1/2 c. sliced almonds
1 c. sliced water chestnuts
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
chicken parts or 12 legs or 12 thighs or 2 whole chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
Preparation

Melt oleo in 9 x 13-inch pan.
Cover with rice.
Mix soups, water, mushrooms, water chestnuts and almonds and pour over rice. Place chicken on top of mixture and season lightly with salt and pepper.
Cover with foil.
Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 300\u00b0.
Uncover and bake for an additional 1/2 hour.
