Creamy Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. tender yellow squash
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1-8 oz sour cream
    1-4 oz diced pimento
    2 C crushed saltine crackers
    1 1/2 C shredded mild cheddar cheese
    2 medium green onion
    1/4 C butter
    Water chestnuts sliced, optional
Preparation
    Cook squash and onion in salted water until tender. Drain well. In large dish mix rest of ingredients with squash & onion. Bake in 2 qt. casserole dish at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes, or until heated through. Sprinkle a few crackers over top if you desire.
