Jumbo Raisin Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. water
2 c. raisins
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice

Preparation

Sift the last 7 ingredients together.
Boil raisins in water for 5 minutes and cool.
Cream together butter and sugar.
Add vanilla, cooled raisins and nuts.
Add sifted flour mixture to other ingredients.
Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet. Cook 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
