Scalloped Spinach - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach, cooked and drained
    1 Tbsp. chopped onion
    2 beaten eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    1/4 c. mild cheese, shredded
    sliced mushrooms (optional)
    salt and pepper
    1/4 c. bread crumbs, buttered
Preparation
    Cook spinach with onion until completely thawed; drain thoroughly.
    Add milk and cheese to saucepan; heat just until the cheese is melted.
    Mix in beaten eggs.
    Stir in spinach to milk mixture.
    Pour into greased 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Sprinkle bread crumbs on top; dot with butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Serves 4.
