Beer Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 (12 oz.) can beer (room temperature)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
In mixing bowl, place flour (measuring by spooning it into a cup and leveling the surface; don't shake down).
Add sugar and stir well with the spoon.
Add beer all at once and before stirring break the egg into it.
Mix the egg into the beer and stir the mix with a spoon.
Stir long enough to mix well.
Put batter into a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
Bake 60 to 65 minutes.
