Meat Roll - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    3/4 c. cracker crumbs
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 egg
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    3/4 tsp. oregano
    2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    Combine ground beef, egg, cracker crumbs, onion, 1/3 cup tomato sauce, salt, oregano and pepper.
    Mix well and form into a flat rectangle, about 10 x 12-inches, on waxed paper.
    Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese evenly over meat mixture.
    Roll up like a jelly roll and press ends of roll to seal.
    Place in shallow baking dish. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Pour off excess fat.
    Pour on remaining tomato sauce and bake an additional 20 minutes.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
