Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. Mazola oil
2 jars Gerber prunes
1 c. nuts
2 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice

Preparation

Cream together the sugar, eggs and oil.
Add the prunes.
Sift together the flour and the spices.
Add this to the sugar/egg mixture.
Add nuts.
Grease or line a 1/2 pound cake pan.
Start cake in cold oven, then bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
