Meringue - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. cornstarch, dissolved in 2 Tbsp. water
1/2 c. water
3 egg whites
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 tsp. baking powder
6 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Dissolve cornstarch; add 1/2 cup water, boil until thick. Cool.
Beat egg whites, cream of tartar and baking powder until soft peaks form.
Slowly add sugar.
Beat until glossy.
Then beat in cooled, thickened mixture.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Makes high meringue, does not weep.
