Chinese Sausage Bites - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bulk pork sausage
    1 slightly beaten egg
    1/2 c. bread cubes
    4 Tbsp. butter
    3/4 c. chili sauce
    1/4 tsp. garlic salt
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    In a bowl, combine sausage, egg and cubes.
    Use a teaspoon for amount to form small balls.
    Melt butter in a frying pan.
    Cook balls evenly until brown; drain on absorbent paper.
    In a pot, mix the remaining ingredients.
    Cook slowly for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Place balls in a serving bowl; cover with sauce. Serve with toothpicks.
    Yields 20 to 25 appetizers.
