Christmas Sparkler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries, thawed
    2 Tbsp. lime juice or lemon juice
    1 fifth sparkling pink Catawba grape juice, chilled
    1 (28 oz.) bottle lemon-lime carbonated beverage, chilled
    lime or lemon slices, cut in half (optional)
Preparation
    In a bowl, press strawberries through a sieve.
    Stir lime or lemon juice into pulp.
    Cover; chill.
    Place strawberry pulp in a large punch bowl.
    Carefully pour grape juice and lemon-lime carbonated beverage into chilled pulp, stirring with an up and down motion.
    When serving punch, garnish each serving with a lime or lemon slice, if desired.
    Makes 18 (4 ounce) servings.
