Hearty Home-Style Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 c. sliced celery
    1/2 c. chopped green bell pepper
    1/2 c. red bell pepper
    28 oz. can tomatoes, cut up
    6 oz. can tomato paste
    4 garlic cloves, minced
    2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. cumin
    1 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    2 (15 oz.) cans red kidney beans (undrained)
Preparation
    In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, brown ground beef and onion; drain.
    Add all remaining ingredients except kidney beans. Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer 1 hour.
    Add kidney beans; simmer until thoroughly heated.
    Makes seven 1 1/2-cup servings.
