Pecan Karo Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1 tsp.vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 stick butter
    dash of salt
    9-inch pie shell
Preparation
    Brown butter in iron skillet.
    Remove from heat and add the sugar, stirring until well blended.
    Mix eggs and corn syrup with sugar and butter.
    Beat thoroughly.
    Add vanilla, salt and chopped nuts.
    Mix well.
    Place in unbaked pie shell.
    Cook for 10 minutes at 425\u00b0.
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and cook until a silver knife inserted in center of filling comes out clean.
    Good.
