Doctor Bird Cake Plus - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 c. white sugar
    1 tsp. salt (optional)
    2 c. diced bananas (very ripe)
    1 c. cooking oil (your choice)
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. maraschino cherries finely chopped
    1/2 c. black walnut pieces or nuts of your choice
Preparation
    Measure dry ingredients and sift together. Dice bananas to equal 2 cups. Add bananas to dry ingredients along with oil, pineapple and
    juice, vanilla, and eggs. Stir to blend---DO NOT BEAT. Gently stir in chocolate chips, cherries, and nuts. Blend well. Pour into a greased 9 inch tube pan or bundt pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour 20 minutes. Set aside to cool on a rack without removing from pan.
