Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. butter
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 c. plain flour
    6 eggs
    8 oz. sour cream
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt 3 or 4 times (important). Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, one at a time, beating good. Add vanilla.
    Fold in flour, alternating with sour cream.
    Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes at 300\u00b0.
