Ingredients

1 1/4 c. flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. oil
1 egg
1 c. milk
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients in one bowl, the rest in another. Combine all together; stir by hand until wet.
Don't overstir. You don't have to get lumps out.
Ladle onto hot griddle at 425\u00b0, fry 1 minute and turn.
