General Tso'S Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. chicken meat
    1/2 c. rice vinegar
    1 Tbsp. dark soy sauce
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. green onion, chopped
    2 to 3 garlic cloves
    2 Tbsp. crushed red pepper
    1/2 c. soy sauce
    3/4 to 1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. sesame oil
    1 egg
    1/4 c. water
    1/8 inch slice ginger
    oil to fry chicken in
Preparation
    Cut chicken into bite-size chunks.
    Mix egg and 2 tablespoons cornstarch.
    Add chicken; stir until well coated.
    Fry chicken in hot oil until golden brown.
    Drain on paper towels.
    Do not cover. Mix together 2 tablespoons cornstarch in cool water and set aside.
    Combine the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, dark soy and sesaame oil.
    Add 1 tablespoon oil to hot pan.
    Quickly fry red pepper, onions, garlic and ginger until they become hot.
    Add soy sauce mixture and bring to a boil.
    Add just enough cornstarch mixture to thicken.
    Stir in chicken pieces.
    Serve with steamed rice.
    Experiment with amounts of ingredients to get it the way you like it.
