Tea Time Toast - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cake yeast
1/4 c. warm water
1 c. boiling water
1 c. yellow corn meal
3/4 c. scalded milk
1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 egg
4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Combine yeast in warm water with pinch of sugar; set aside. In a large bowl, mix corn meal, hot water, milk, sugar, salt, butter, egg and yeast.
Mix well.
Add flour and soda; knead for 5 minutes.
Place dough in greased bowl and let rise 2 hours. Repeat; let rise second time for 1 hour.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes.
I use pie pans.
