Barley Muffins With Dates And Walnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. barley flour
    1 c. plain flour
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. unsweetened orange juice
    1/2 c. skim milk
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    1/2 c. chopped dates
    1/4 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl.
    Make a well in center of mixture.
    Combine orange juice and next 3 ingredients; stir well.
    Add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened. Gently fold in dates and walnuts.
