Swedish Meat Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. ground beef
1 lb. ground pork
1 c. finely chopped onion
1 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1 c. milk
1 Tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
dash of allspice
2 eggs
4 Tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. flour
4 c. water
4 beef bouillon cubes
Preparation

In a large bowl, mix first 10 ingredients together.
Shape into balls, about 1-inch in diameter.
Brown in shortening.
Remove meat balls.
Stir flour into drippings and cook until brown.
Add water and bouillon cubes.
Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil.
Reduce heat; add meat balls.
Cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
