Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium squash
    4 strips bacon
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 bell pepper, chopped
    1 c. saltine cracker crumbs
    2 eggs
    butter
    paprika to taste
    grated cheese
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Boil squash in salted water in saucepan until tender; drain.
    Fry bacon in skillet; crumble and add with drippings to squash.
    Add onion and bell pepper; mix well. Reserve small amount of cracker crumbs for topping.
    Add remaining crumbs and eggs to squash mixture; mix well.
    Pour into greased 3-quart casserole.
    Top with reserved crumbs.
    Dot with butter; sprinkle paprika and cheese over top.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes, or until done.
