Homecoming Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. Crisco
    1 1/2 c. evaporated milk
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    3 sticks oleo
    8 eggs
    4 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream
    butter, sugar and Crisco.
    Beat in eggs one at a time. Sift
    flour and baking powder together.
    Add to creamed mixture alternately
    with
    milk.
    Add
    vanilla.
    Bake
    in
    2 greased and floured tube pans at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or when done.
