Spanish Rice With Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground chuck
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 medium green pepper, chopped
    2 (16 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes (undrained)
    1 c. uncooked long grain white rice
    1 c. water
    1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
    3/4 tsp. dried oregano
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. red pepper
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation
    Brown ground beef with onion and green pepper in Dutch oven. Drain off fat; pat meat with paper towel.
    Return meat to Dutch oven; stir in remaining ingredients.
    Bring to boil; cover, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes, or until rice is tender, stirring occasionally.
