Molasses Coconut Chews - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1/2 c. Brer Rabbit molasses or syrup
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. shredded coconut
Preparation
    Combine syrup, molasses, vinegar and butter.
    Place over low flame and stir until mixture boils.
    Continue boiling to 240\u00b0 or until small amount of syrup becomes brittle in cold water.
    Remove from fire; add coconut.
    Drop from 2 forks on greased surface. Makes 28 chews.
