Marinated Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage, shredded
    1 medium onion, sliced thin
    1 bell pepper, sliced thin
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. salad oil
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Shred cabbage into large bowl.
    Place onion and pepper on top. Sprinkle with sugar.
    Heat vinegar, oil, celery seed, mustard and salt (to just a boil); remove from heat and pour over cabbage mixture.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
    Stir, then drain before serving.
    (Will keep in refrigerator for several days.)
