Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 1/4 c. Treasure Chest oats *
Preparation

Cream shortening in a large bowl.
Add sugars gradually, beating until well blended.
Beat in egg, vanilla and water.
Stir in remaining ingredients and drop by teaspoons onto well-greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until golden, about 15 minutes. Yields 5 dozen.
