Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. shrimp
4 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. oil
6 Tbsp. flour
1 c. bell pepper, chopped
6 cloves garlic, chopped
2 1/2 c. hot water
16 oz. can tomato sauce
1 c. onion, chopped
1/2 c. green onion, chopped
1 c. celery, chopped
4 bay leaves
1/2 tsp. sugar
Preparation
-
In heavy pot, melt butter.
Add oil and saute all seasonings until done. Add flour and blend well. Add tomato sauce, hot water and sugar. Cook over medium heat approximately 30 minutes. Add shrimp and cook another 30 minutes.
