Chess Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs, well beaten
    4 c. whipping cream
    2 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. butter
Preparation
    In a saucepan, warm butter until melted on low heat.
    Remove pan from heat and add the remaining ingredients.
    Mix all ingredients together well.
    Pour into two 9-inch prepared pie shells.
    Cook 10 minutes at 450\u00b0, then reduce temperature to 325\u00b0 and finish baking for 1 hour.
    Pie will be done when custard is set.
    Check with knife by inserting into center of pie and point comes out clean.
