Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. bran
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. oil
    2 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs
    1 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Mix 1 cup bran with boiling water.
    Stir and let set.
    Cream together sugar, oil and eggs.
    Combine flour, soda and salt.
    Mix together with remaining 2 cups bran and buttermilk and water and bran mixture.
    Store in refrigerator in airtight container.
    Cook in muffin pans.
    Keeps up to 6 weeks.
