Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 onions, chopped
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 lb. ground meat
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    1/2 c. uncooked rice or 1/2 c. elbow macaroni
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
    cheese slices (optional)
Preparation
    Brown meat.
    Drain and set aside.
    Saute onions and pepper in 2 tablespoon of oil, about 5 minutes.
    Mash tomatoes.
    Add all ingredients and stir well.
    Pour into casserole dish sprayed with Pam.
