Double Chocolate Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    2/3 c. shortening
    2/3 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
    4 sq. chocolate (unsweetened), melted and cooled
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Beat eggs slightly in a large mixer bowl. Add remaining ingredients.
    Blend on low speed about 30 seconds. Mix on medium speed until ingredients are well blended. Drop by teaspoonfuls (heaping) onto greased cookie sheet. Bake about 12 minutes.
    Frost, if desired.
    Makes 8 dozen.
