Bev'S 24-Hour Coleslaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 large head cabbage, shredded
    2 large onions, sliced thinly
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. oil
Preparation
    Stir sugar into cabbage.
    Put half of the cabbage into a large bowl.
    Cover with onion slices; top with remaining cabbage.
