Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. popcorn, unpopped
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. margarine
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 250\u00b0.
    Pop popcorn without butter or oil.
    It needs to be dry.
    Mix together margarine, corn syrup, brown sugar and cream of tartar.
    Bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat and immediately stir in baking soda, stirring well.
    This will foam up.
    Pour over popcorn and mix well. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
    Cool on waxed paper and store in airtight container.
    Yields 15 servings.
    Preparation time is 75 minutes.
