Golden Layer Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained (reserve)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 small pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen pound cake, thawed
1/3 c. almond flavored liqueur or 1/3 c. pineapple juice and 1/2 tsp. almond extract
1/4 c. sliced almonds (for garnish)
Preparation

Slice pound cake in half, lengthwise.
Mix topping and pudding, then add drained pineapple and liqueur or juice and extract.
Spread between layers and frost with this mixture. Garnish with sliced almonds.
